| About Me |
| I consider myself to be a tourer. Long solitary hours, just me, my bike and the tarmac stretching up to infinity is heaven for me. I consider biking to be a relief in the closed worlds we live in. Long rides is as much an act of philosophical exploration as well as a test of physical endurance for me. It is also the ultimate test of self discipline and mental maturity. |

Do I think I have contributed to the motorcycling community, however a small way it may be? |
| By regularly wearing safety gear, whether on the daily commute, for a tour or for the jaunt to the local store, I aim to be a model in safe riding. I do not start my bike without wearing helmet, even for office commute I wear my armored gloves and armored jackets and boots are omnipresent for the rainy seasons. By these acts of example I have been and and am keeping on trying to inspire others to ride safe. There is no point in riding unless you can live on and look back with contentment. |

| How can I contribute more in the future to the motorcycling community? |
| I hope to do more rides and cooperate in ventures to provide more riding safety. Biking gives a freedom of approach with which worthwhile messages can be spread. I also hope to build up my collection of travelogues through my rides. |

Best Ride
Cochin to Bangalore and back to watch Aero India 2011. A ride of 1200 kilometers, my joy of seeing my trip meter resetting just out of Coimbatore on return leg is indescribable! It had been a test of physical and mental endurance which has strengthened my life ever since! |

Tips to budding tourers
Proper riding gear, well maintained bike, being in a good physical condition and consideration for one's loved ones who are worrying for you. Do NOT ever ride without telling your loved ones, spare a thought to their agony if ever you have an accident. |
